The largest classrooms on the EBIS campus are here in the Elementary School. Why? At EBIS our students are taught in Activity Based Learning. Our teachers don’t stand at the front of the classroom the entire period and lecture. Instead, the class time starts with a short instruction by the teacher and quickly dives into projects that reinforce the lesson. EBIS has large Open Learning Spaces throughout the entire campus but nowhere else is it more evident than in the Elementary Wing.

With EBIS offering Dual Diplomas of both Chinese and American distinction, parents now have more options with their student’s education. If at any time a parent feels that their student should move into a more traditional Chinese environment, the Chinese Diploma allows an easy transition.

English Immersion begins at the Elementary level and increases throughout an EBIS student’s educational experience. About half of the classes will be taught in Chinese and the other in English.
